What it is
Implements the lower levels of the OSI model — and exposes one API
Diadrom DCS implements the lower levels of the OSI model and exposes an API for the customer to access the component through. It also handles basic diagnostic services in compliance with ISO 14229.
To ease the implementation of an application, the stack aims to be as hardware-independent as possible: the customer should only need the provided API to handle communication with the rest of the vehicle.
DCS is delivered for integration into programmes that work in accordance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 — the same functional-safety discipline whether the platform is a vehicle or a defence system. How we work with standards.
