Vehicle-proven diagnostics — in defence service since 2012

A ruggedised flight recorder we delivered in 2012 is still in service today — that is how we keep defence platforms mission-ready. Diagnostics and system safety for systems built to last 30 years, trusted by Saab, BAE Systems and FMV.

The challenge

Challenges in modern defence systems

Modern defence platforms are becoming increasingly software-intensive, with embedded systems forming the backbone of land, sea and air operations. Diagnostics is not just a support function – it is a strategic enabler for resilience, control and mission success.

Platforms last thirty years; software assumptions last three. Somewhere in between, readiness is won or lost.

01

Rising software complexity

Every new control unit, sensor and autonomous function multiplies the integration points where a platform can fail — and where diagnostics must reach.

02

Cybersecurity pressures

Frameworks such as UN R155/156 and ISO/SAE 21434 demand strict compliance and robust processes across the lifecycle.

03

Operational readiness

Availability is decided in the field: systems must predict faults, operate degraded and support autonomous missions — without compromising safety.

04

Extreme environments

Disconnected, hostile or physically demanding conditions require diagnostics that are resilient and embedded – without cloud dependence.

What we offer

For the defence and security sector

01 – DIAGNOSTICS

Embedded diagnostic systems

  • Mission-critical software for onboard fault management
  • Advanced test automation and software-integrity validation
  • Lifecycle management for secure and traceable software

Proven in service: RBS 70 NG — lifecycle diagnostics designed in at the concept phase.

03 – SYSTEM SAFETY

System safety & traceability

  • Hazard-tracking support in accordance with MIL-STD-882E (TASK 106)
  • Software traceability and SBOM readiness across the lifecycle
  • Verification and validation with automated test coverage

The record side is carried by Diag Studio — baselines, approvals and a provable audit trail.

A note on standards

We work in accordance with MIL-STD-882E and we continuously learn from H SystSäk 2022. We put it exactly that way on purpose: standards maturity is a journey, and we will not claim a certification or maturity level we do not hold. Ask us where we are on that journey – we will tell you plainly.

Our value

In defence since 2012. In mission-critical diagnostics since 1999.

We understand mission environments because we have shipped into them: the ruggedised flight recorder we delivered for a military platform in 2012 is still in service today. Our track record spans OEMs, primes and authorities in embedded diagnostics and software testing.

Qualified processes (ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288) carry the work. In system safety we work in accordance with MIL-STD-882E and continuously learn from H SystSäk 2022 — how we work with standards.

Diadrom AI · Controlled AI

Controlled AI — air-gapped, human-in-the-loop, on your side of the wire.

AI is only trustworthy in mission-critical systems when it sits on a provable foundation. Diadrom AI adds anomaly detection, lifecycle drift detection and a diagnostic copilot on top of the deterministic diagnostics you already run — on-prem or fully air-gapped, with every recommendation traced and a human signing off before anything acts. Designed around NGVA, SAPIENT, Link 16 and Federated Mission Networking as reference interfaces where relevant.
